Interior Health Authority has an exciting opportunity for a Casual Staffing Services Scheduling Clerk to contribute to their team. This role works Monday to Friday – 07:00 to 15:00, 08:00 to 16:00, 09:00 to 17:00. This is a Casual opportunity, meaning there are no guaranteed hours and work requirements can vary from hours per week. In this role, you will work in a customer-focused, team-oriented framework performing staffing, scheduling and payroll clerical functions in a fully automated system. Some typical duties will include: • Receiving and processing requests for vacancy coverage to ensure staff compliment baselines are met; • Allocating and calling in relief staff to fill vacancies; • Receiving and processing on-staff, payroll removal notices and change notices; • Reviewing and auditing timekeeping records; • Reviewing, calculating and editing on call and call back hours; • Data entry; • Reception and clerical duties. What should your application include? - Confirmation of completion of Grade 12 - Your Resume indicating three years' recent related experience, Or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience; - A Cover Letter stating your availability to start in a new position; Casual employment includes: short-notice, on-call availability; workload coverage during a temporary absence; and/or providing relief coverage in a specific position. Once hired into a casual role, employees are eligible to apply for internal postings including permanent part-time or full time positions.
