We are seeking a dynamic and motivated individual to take on the role of Grain Marketing Specialist. This position involves fostering long-term relationships with agricultural producers by serving as a trusted source of market insights. The ideal candidate will possess a proactive approach, aiming to surpass objectives while utilizing their expertise to assist clients in formulating and executing grain marketing strategies. With a creative mindset, you will implement sales and marketing initiatives, explore new sales avenues, and expand our market presence by identifying opportunities within the sector.

This role requires the capability to support and execute operations in response to various challenges and prospects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Procure grain and manage the logistics associated with grain transportation.
  • Establish and maintain robust customer relationships, acting as the primary liaison for all agricultural clients.
  • Enhance and cultivate existing customer connections while seeking new business opportunities within your designated area.
  • Develop, present, and oversee diverse grain contract options (DDC, TPA, Basis, etc.) for producers, ensuring compliance with quality standards and delivery protocols as per company guidelines.
  • Perform additional duties as required.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of three years of experience in Agribusiness or related customer service roles.
  • A strong customer-centric approach with proven problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • A creative thinker with a keen eye for detail.
  • Exceptional critical thinking, strategic planning, and decision-making abilities are essential.
  • A degree or certificate in Agriculture, Agribusiness, or a related field is preferred.
  • Equivalent combinations of education and experience that provide the necessary knowledge, skills, and competencies may be considered.
  • Prior experience in sales and/or account management, ideally within the agribusiness or agriculture-related sectors.
