Job Title: Production Supervisor

Tiercon Corp. is a leading automotive supplier seeking a skilled Production Supervisor to oversee daily operations and personnel at our Stoney Creek facility.

Job Summary:

As a Production Supervisor, you will be responsible for ensuring customer schedules are met within quality, safety, and production targets. This role requires strong leadership and problem-solving skills, with a focus on continuous improvement and quality attitude.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee daily operations, ensuring customer schedules are met within quality specifications and production targets.
  • Manage production personnel, resolving concerns, reviewing performance, and maintaining morale and discipline.
  • Comply with health, safety, and environmental regulations, ensuring a safe work environment.
  • Participate in problem-solving and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Manage time and attendance, review monthly statements, and establish corrective actions as needed.
  • Ensure all personnel adhere to procedures and policies, and all product is labeled, stored, and handled according to quality standards.
Requirements:
  • Grade 12 or GED required.
  • Five years of experience in high-volume manufacturing, preferably automotive.
  • Post-secondary education in Materials Management, Operations Management, or Mechanical Engineering, or minimum of two years of leadership experience.
  • Ability to work rotating shifts, including day and afternoon shifts.
  • Demonstrated working knowledge of manufacturing principles, including 5S and lean.
  • Intermediate knowledge of mathematical calculations for determining daily operation efficiencies.
  • Supervisory Health and Safety Training is an asset.
