Position: Electrical Technician

Employment Type: Full-time, project-based

Key Responsibilities

  • Installation of cable trays and conduits, cable termination, and setup of control components.
  • Fabrication of control panels, wiring checks, and circuit layouts.
  • Interpretation of drawings, circuit diagrams, and electrical specifications.
  • Testing, troubleshooting, and maintenance of electrical equipment.
  • Additional responsibilities as required.

Required Qualifications and Skills

  • Certified Journeyperson or currently enrolled in an Apprenticeship Program.
  • Experience in high voltage, industrial maintenance projects, and operation of power equipment.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude, manual dexterity, ability to work at heights, and comprehensive safety knowledge.
  • Additional qualifications as necessary.

Compensation and Benefits

  • Hourly wage of $50.00 with shift rotation and overtime compensation.
  • Flexible working hours and benefits as outlined in the Collective Agreement.

Work Environment

  • Primary work location with travel as required.
  • Fast-paced setting with a variety of tasks, capable of working in all weather conditions.
  • Ability to lift heavy materials and perform repetitive tasks.
