About the Role

GADGETS MAKEOVER INC. is seeking a skilled Technical Support Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our technical support team, you will be responsible for providing top-notch support to our users, ensuring they have a seamless experience with our products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Technical Support: Respond to user inquiries and resolve technical issues related to computer systems, software, and hardware.
  • Problem-Solving: Utilize technical manuals, guides, and other resources to research and implement solutions to complex technical problems.
  • User Training: Provide training and guidance to users on how to use our products and services effectively.
  • Log Maintenance: Maintain a comprehensive log of problems and solutions to aid in future troubleshooting efforts.
  • System Support: Provide support for business systems, networks, and internet services to ensure seamless operation.
  • Equipment Setup: Set up and configure equipment for employee use, ensuring proper installation of cables, operating systems, and software.
  • Backup and Recovery: Perform web-server backup and recovery operations to ensure data integrity.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a technical support role.
  • Skills: Strong technical knowledge of device drivers, networking software, hardware, security, and desktop applications.
  • Language: Fluency in English.
  • Work Environment: 30 hours per week, permanent position.
