Senior Project Manager/Engineer, Municipal Engineering

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Manager/Project Engineer to join our Edmonton Municipal Engineering team at WSP Canada. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading a wide range of municipal infrastructure projects, including water, wastewater, drainage, and roadway infrastructure projects. Your expertise will be essential in delivering high-quality projects that meet the needs of our clients and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and manage municipal infrastructure projects from planning to completion
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver projects on time and within budget
- Develop and implement project plans, including project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation
- Provide technical guidance and support to junior staff and project teams
- Communicate effectively with clients, stakeholders, and project teams to ensure project success
- Minimum 10+ years of experience in municipal infrastructure project management
- Professional Engineer or Technologist designation in Alberta
- Project Management Professional (PMP) designation is an asset
- Knowledge of transportation and environmental standards and guidelines
- Experience with sewer, watermain, and road design
- Familiarity with local planning and approval processes
