About the Job

We are seeking a skilled Carpenter - Concrete Forms Specialist to join our team at Province wide contracting Inc.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and layout concrete forms in accordance with building codes and specifications.
  • Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials such as wood, wood substitutes, and steel to construct concrete forms.
  • Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, and erect walls and roof systems using concrete forms.
  • Schedule and coordinate work on construction sites to ensure timely completion of projects.
  • Train and supervise apprentices in the construction of concrete forms.
  • Supervise other workers on the construction site to ensure compliance with safety protocols and construction standards.
Work Environment
  • Work at heights and in confined spaces.
  • Work in noisy and dusty environments.
  • Work in various locations, including commercial, industrial, institutional, and residential sites.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in the construction industry.
  • Permanent employment opportunity.
  • 40 to 44 hours per week of work.
  • English as the primary language of communication.
