About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Landscape Architect to join our team as a Project Manager. As a key member of our Land Development team, you will be responsible for leading and assisting with the design, planning, and execution of various landscape architecture and infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop creative designs that meet client vision and objectives
  • Work through all development phases, from conceptual to approvals, inspection, and close-out
  • Participate in the development of construction specifications, contract administration, and site review
  • Serve as a senior technical landscape designer, mentor, and train junior staff
  • Develop site design concepts and analyze site layouts in digital and hand-illustrated formats
  • Deliver creative solutions and design materials that communicate design intent to clients and staff
  • Conduct tree inventory and investigations, and develop tree protection plans
  • Act as project manager from proposal scoping, budgeting, scheduling, and concept design through construction phases
  • Interface directly with internal and external clients, providing clear, well-articulated, and solution-based recommendations
Requirements
  • Minimum of 6 years of professional experience in Landscape Architecture
  • Bachelor's degree in Landscape Architecture
  • OALA registration or advancement toward OALA registration
  • Exceptional design and technical knowledge
  • Effective verbal, written, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work on multiple projects with aggressive delivery schedules
  • Demonstrated ability to prepare high-quality design work and design presentations using hand graphics and relevant computer software
  • Demonstrated experience and design excellence in several core areas of the practice
