Durham College is seeking a committed educator to contribute to the Faculty of Science, Engineering, and Information Technology. The institution requires a part-time instructor to facilitate laboratory sessions for the courses CHEM3201 and CHEM3202: Spectroscopy 2 and Chromatography 2.

Spectroscopy 2:

This course focuses on the interpretation of spectroscopic data obtained from FTIR, NMR, and Mass Spectrometry. Students will be equipped to analyze and comprehend the data, including its quality, limitations, and qualitative implications.

Chromatography 2:

Building on the foundational concepts from Chromatography I, this course emphasizes HPLC, GC, and IC techniques. Students will engage in sample preparation methods, develop strategies for method optimization, and gain practical experience with HPLC, IC, and GC instrumentation.

  • Demonstrated commitment to lifelong learning
  • Ability to effectively engage with stakeholders
  • Familiarity with the Ontario college education system
