Position Overview

Join our team at Sagittarius Cargo Services as a dedicated delivery driver. This role involves the efficient transport of goods and messages, ensuring timely deliveries within urban settings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Delivery Operations: Transport messages, parcels, and various items by hand, utilizing vehicles such as automobiles, vans, and light trucks.
  • Communication: Relay information effectively to central dispatch and maintain accurate records of deliveries.
  • Logistics Management: Sort packages for delivery, load and unload goods, and ensure all items are accounted for.
  • Route Navigation: Follow directions and utilize maps to optimize delivery routes.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Conduct pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and performance.
Qualifications
  • Education: No formal degree required.
  • Licensing: Valid Class 5/5F/G Licence for operating cars and small trucks.
  • Experience: Previous experience in a similar role is preferred, with a minimum of 1 month and up to 7 months of experience.
Work Environment

This position is primarily outdoors in an urban area, requiring physical stamina and the ability to handle heavy loads.
