Program Transition Project Manager

Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Project Lead for the Come to Work Program Transition
to drive initiatives that promote accessibility, inclusivity, and equity across Canada, ensuring individuals with low vision have boundless opportunities to engage fully in life.
Your Contributions at CNIB
- Collaborate with the Team Lead, Come to Work, to ensure the project team meets key performance indicators and objectives during the project's final phase.
- Document essential knowledge, processes, and resources related to project execution.
- Collect data, testimonials, images, and other materials that highlight the achievements of the Come to Work Project within the province.
- Prepare and compile project reports as required by governmental bodies.
- Track all project-related expenses and maintain supporting documentation throughout the project duration.
- Work with the Philanthropy team to research, identify, and evaluate future funding opportunities for the Come to Work Program in British Columbia.
- Assist in establishing and nurturing relationships with potential funders under the guidance of the Executive Director and in collaboration with the Philanthropy team.
Who You Are:
Education and Certifications
- Post-secondary degree or diploma in a relevant field.
- 1-3 years of experience in project coordination or management.
- Experience in the non-profit or public sector is advantageous.
- Exceptional communication abilities.
- Capacity to collaborate effectively across various organizational levels and functions.
- Strong writing skills with the capability to produce comprehensive reports and documents.
- Experience in reporting for government projects is beneficial.
- Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy.
- Adept at quickly assimilating information and transforming it into actionable insights.
- Proficient in using Customer Relationship Management software.
- Familiarity with Salesforce is a plus.
- Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, and PowerPoint.
- Demonstrated time management, planning, coordination, and organizational skills; proactive in managing multiple ongoing projects.
- Exhibits a strong understanding of and commitment to diversity and accessibility issues.
- Personal or professional experience related to blindness and sight loss is an asset.
- Experience with assistive technology and/or accessible environments is considered beneficial.
