Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Developmental Service Worker to join our team at Community Living Trent Highlands. As a key member of our staff, you will provide support and care to individuals with intellectual disabilities in a group home setting.

Responsibilities
  • Provide education and life skills training to individuals with intellectual disabilities
  • Assist with daily living activities, such as personal care and household chores
  • Support individuals in achieving their goals and aspirations
  • Collaborate with other staff members to ensure a safe and supportive environment
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge
Requirements
  • College diploma or equivalent in a related field
  • Experience working with individuals with intellectual disabilities an asset
  • Non-violent Crisis Intervention (NVCI) Certificate and First Aid Certificate required
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
