Bilingual Collections Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Bilingual Collections Officer to join our team at Bilingual Source. As a key member of our collections team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our clients while ensuring timely and efficient payment processing.
Key Responsibilities- Address customer inquiries and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
- Secure payments through effective communication and negotiation.
- Collaborate with clients to resolve disputes and find mutually beneficial solutions.
- Maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion when handling customer and vendor transactions.
- Manage customer files and make informed decisions regarding file acceleration, including repossession, write-offs, or legal actions.
- Fluency in both French and English.
- At least 2 years of experience in administration or client services within banking, financial services, credit, or collections.
- Proficiency in setting up and documenting payment arrangements accurately.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive mindset.
- Attention to detail with a proven track record of maintaining accurate documentation.
- Ability to uphold confidentiality and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
- Intermediate skills in MS Office and a willingness to learn new applications.
- Familiarity with compliance laws related to collections is an asset.
