Job Title: Human Resources Manager

Partner Staffing is currently working with our client to find a highly skilled Human Resources Manager to join their team. This is a key role that requires a strategic partner who can support the company's vision, mission, and strategies.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with employment-related legislation, fostering positive employee relations, and developing and executing HR strategies, policies, and initiatives. They will play a key role in talent acquisition and retention, new employee orientation, disciplinary action, employee development, performance management, job role and classification, employee engagement, compensation and benefits administration, and enforcement of the HSE program.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop, implement, and maintain HR policies, processes, and procedures.
  • Train employees on company policies, processes, and procedures, and work with management to enforce them.
  • Mediate conflicts, conduct investigations, manage the progressive discipline process, and provide employee support.
  • Coach and mentor employees and provide support on personal and business matters.
  • Coach and guide managers and staff on employee discipline, termination, and performance improvement processes.
  • Develop, execute, and administer the company's recruitment and retention program in collaboration with all departments.
  • Develop and manage the company's employee and contractor orientation/onboarding program, ensuring all necessary documentation is completed and filed.
  • Develop and execute ongoing training and development plans and programs to ensure all employees have the skills, knowledge, and tools to perform their roles effectively.
  • Ensure HR policies, practices, and programs are compliant with HR legislative requirements.
  • Manage and maintain information on HR databases and systems, ensuring all personnel, HR, and contractor information documents and files are complete and current.
  • Establish and maintain a succession plan for key positions within the company.
  • Support management and employees in enforcing the company's HSE program.
  • Monitor and manage the HR budget, reporting on monthly and yearly budgets and expenses as requested.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in HR, with a strong background in recruitment, talent management, and employee relations.
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing effective HR strategies, policies, and procedures.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret and apply HR legislation and regulations.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Strong knowledge of HR systems, databases, and software, with the ability to analyze and interpret data.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
