About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Recruitment Officer to join our team at DRIVEX GROUP LTD. as a key member of our Human Resources department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Recruitment and Selection
    • Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract top talent
    • Source and screen candidates for various positions within the organization
    • Collaborate with hiring managers to understand their recruitment needs and preferences
  • Employee Onboarding
    • Design and deliver comprehensive onboarding programs for new employees
    • Ensure a smooth transition for new hires, including orientation, training, and benefits enrollment
  • Support for Newcomers and Refugees
    • Recruit and support newcomers and refugees who were displaced by a conflict or a natural disaster
    • Assist with foreign credential recognition and provide guidance on the Canadian job market
    • Develop and implement mentorship programs to pair newcomers and refugees with experienced employees
  • Administrative Tasks
    • Manage recruitment databases and track candidate progress
    • Coordinate and participate in selection and examination boards to evaluate candidates
    • Organize staff consultation and grievance procedures
    • Determine eligibility to entitlements and arrange staff training
    Requirements
    • Education
      • College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year
    • Experience
      • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in recruitment, human resources, or a related field
    • Language
      • Fluency in English
    • Work Environment
      • 35 hours per week
