Reporting directly to the Branch Manager, this role is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the branch.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise branch personnel, excluding Outside Sales staff, while fostering strong internal relationships. Address employee concerns promptly and confidentially, keeping the branch manager informed on staffing issues. Ensure fair and consistent implementation of company policies and procedures. Provide adequate training to staff to enhance their effectiveness in their roles and encourage teamwork within the branch. Promote exceptional customer service and branch profitability. Address customer concerns professionally and keep both customers and staff informed about new products through seminars and introductions. Oversee the Health and Safety program at the branch. Exhibit personal accountability and responsibility in attitude, job performance, professionalism, and commitment to ongoing development. Uphold and advocate for the company's Core Values of Personal Excellence, Teamwork, and Achievement.About You:
A minimum of five years of experience in plumbing or HVAC with proven product knowledge. Demonstrated supervisory skills, including hiring, coaching, disciplining, scheduling, and training employees. Proficient in computer usage, with the ability to learn new applications and assist staff with inquiries. Capable of handling situations calmly and efficiently under pressure. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple tasks effectively. Sound judgment in interactions with customers and employees. Proven ability to lead and inspire a team to achieve personal and organizational goals. Ability to meet strategic objectives with minimal supervision. Excellent interpersonal skills for fostering positive relationships with customers and staff. Ability to collaborate effectively within a team to achieve shared success.-
