Job Description for Cashier at Harvard Variety Store

We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Cashier to join our team at Harvard Variety Store. As a Cashier, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, operating a cash register, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate a cash register and process transactions accurately and efficiently
  • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a professional manner
  • Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including the sales floor and stockroom
  • Restock shelves and maintain inventory levels
  • Work effectively in a team environment, supporting colleagues as needed
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a retail environment
  • Ability to work under pressure and maintain attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Reliability and a strong work ethic
