Furniture Store Manager Job Description

LONDON LIQUIDATION CENTRE INC. is seeking a highly skilled Furniture Store Manager to lead our retail operations. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing daily store activities, managing staff, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate and optimize daily store operations to ensure maximum efficiency and customer satisfaction.
  • Develop and implement marketing strategies to increase brand awareness and drive sales.
  • Manage staff and assign duties to ensure seamless store operations.
  • Determine merchandise and services to be sold, and implement pricing and credit policies.
  • Locate, select, and procure merchandise for resale.
  • Plan and monitor budgets, and ensure revenue and expense management.
  • Recruit, hire, and supervise staff and/or volunteers.
  • Conduct performance reviews and provide feedback to staff.
Requirements:
  • 2 years of experience in retail management or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make sound decisions quickly.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Outlook and other business software.
Working Conditions:
  • Fast-paced retail environment.
  • Combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
  • Standing for extended periods.
Language:
  • English is the primary language of communication.
Work Schedule:
  • 35 hours per week.
