We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator to join our team at Highlight Motor Freight Inc.
Job SummaryThe Logistics Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating and managing the logistics operations of our company, ensuring smooth and efficient transportation of goods and materials.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate activities with other work units or departments to ensure seamless logistics operations
- Prepare and submit reports on logistics performance and operations
- Ensure the smooth operation of computer equipment and machinery used in logistics operations
- Arrange for maintenance and repair work as needed
- Resolve work problems and provide technical advice to improve productivity and product quality
- Recruit and hire staff as needed
- Train workers in duties and policies
- Conduct performance reviews and provide feedback
- Coordinate, assign, and review work to ensure timely completion
- Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed
- Establish work schedules and procedures to ensure efficient logistics operations
- 1-2 years of experience in logistics or a related field
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask
