Job Title: Executive Chef

We are seeking an experienced Executive Chef to join our team at 2458946 Ontario Inc. as a key member of our culinary team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading our kitchen operations, ensuring high-quality food production, and maintaining a safe and healthy work environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage a team of cooks and kitchen staff
  • Develop and implement menus, recipes, and food preparation procedures
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and food safety standards
  • Manage kitchen inventory, supplies, and equipment
  • Coordinate special events and catering services
  • Train and mentor kitchen staff to improve skills and knowledge
  • Monitor and control food costs, labor costs, and kitchen operations
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery
Requirements:
  • 1-2 years of experience as an Executive Chef or in a similar role
  • Proven track record of leading a kitchen team and achieving high-quality food production
  • Strong knowledge of food safety, health regulations, and kitchen operations
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances
