Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Avionics Technician Apprentice to join our team at Alpine Aerotech LP. This is a permanent position that requires a commitment to excellence in the aviation industry.

Educational Requirements

The ideal candidate will have completed a program in Avionics Maintenance Technology at a College or CEGEP.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct inspections of electrical and avionics systems
  • Install and maintain aircraft instruments
  • Ensure compliance with Transport Canada and company safety standards during installation, maintenance, repair, and overhaul of systems
  • Overhaul aircraft instruments
  • Repair, modify, install, and test aircraft electrical systems and equipment
  • Test electrical, electronic, and instrument components
  • Troubleshoot communications, navigation, and autoflight systems
  • Inspect and repair aircraft systems and components
Certifications and Licenses
  • Avionics Mechanic Trade Certification
  • CAMC Aircraft Maintenance Technician Certification
Technical Skills
  • Proficient in MS Excel, MS Outlook, and MS Word
Aircraft Experience
  • Experience with small and medium turbine helicopters
Industry Background
  • Experience in aircraft manufacturing, corporate aviation, and general aviation
Safety and Security
  • Basic security clearance required
  • Criminal record check necessary
Transportation and Travel
  • Must have a valid driver's license and own vehicle
  • Public transportation options available
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Capable of handling heavy loads
  • Manual dexterity and attention to detail are essential
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and perform bending, crouching, and kneeling tasks
