Job Summary

Metro Traffic LTD is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Traffic Operations Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for coordinating and supervising the day-to-day activities of our traffic management team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Implement Traffic Management Plans
    • Develop specific plans to prioritize and organize tasks to accomplish the work
    • Co-ordinate activities with other work units or departments to ensure seamless traffic flow
  • Supervise and Train Staff
    • Recruit and hire staff to join our team
    • Train workers in duties and policies to ensure they are equipped to handle their roles
    • Conduct performance reviews to ensure staff are meeting expectations
  • Manage Resources and Reports
    • Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed
    • Prepare and submit reports to management on traffic flow and team performance
  • Support Diversity and Inclusion
    • Offer mentorship programs that pair staff with experienced employees to create a welcoming work environment
    • Provide diversity and cross-cultural training to ensure all staff feel included and valued
Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience
    • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a supervisory role
  • Skills
    • Excellent organizational and communication skills
    • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
    • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
