Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled District Loss Prevention Manager to join our team at TJX Canada. As a key member of our Asset Protection department, you will be responsible for ensuring the execution of shrink programs at the store level, maintaining and reducing District shrink, and developing and maintaining internal partnerships with Associates at all levels of the organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement effective shrink reduction strategies to minimize losses and maximize profits.
  • Train and develop Store Management and Associates on Loss Prevention issues, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to prevent and detect shrink.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with external partners, including law enforcement and other retail companies, to share best practices and stay up-to-date on industry trends.
  • Manage budgets and expenses related to Loss Prevention initiatives, including floor walkers, audits, and other related costs.
  • Conduct and support internal investigations, gathering evidence and interviewing witnesses to determine the root cause of shrink and develop strategies to prevent future incidents.
Requirements
  • College Diploma or University Degree in a related field, such as Business Administration or Criminology.
  • Minimum three years of experience in Loss Prevention or a related field, with a proven track record of success in reducing shrink and improving asset protection.
  • Advanced knowledge of Loss Prevention principles and practices, including investigation techniques, interviewing skills, and conflict management.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with Associates at all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to analyze data and develop effective strategies to reduce shrink and improve asset protection.
