Job Title: Senior React Developer

We are seeking an experienced Senior React Developer to join our team at Global Relay. As a Senior React Developer, you will play a key role in driving technical direction across multiple teams and owning the technical direction for delivering highly scalable distributed services and applications.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Act as a technical leader and mentor to junior developers, providing guidance and support to help them grow in their careers.
  • Partner with peers across Engineering, Product Management, and Design to drive delivery of cross-functional projects and address technical and resourcing challenges in the organization.
  • Collaborate with Product Managers, Test Managers, and Engineers to maintain a prioritized backlog and ensure the backlog is arranged to maximize delivery.
  • Help build relationships across functions such as Support, Operations, Test, and other teams to ensure Global Relay's continuing success.
  • Appreciate and advocate for information security and secure coding practices.
Requirements:
  • A degree in Computer Science or Engineering, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
  • ~10+ years of software development experience; shipping enterprise-grade software, using multiple languages and frameworks.
  • ~ Motivation to grow and build on the Senior React Developer role, going above and beyond to become a Staff Developer.
  • ~ Extensive experience in stakeholder management, and experience finding pragmatic solutions that help design and development maximize delivery.
  • ~ Experience building and managing large, highly scalable distributed services, complex databases, microservices, and APIs in service and resource-oriented architectures.
  • ~ Experience with complex databases and managing data quality and lifecycle issues.
  • ~ Understanding of modern frameworks and techniques for building web application user interfaces.
