Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Wood Processing Labourer to join our team at Diamond Stacking Co. Ltd. as an Operations Specialist. This is a permanent position that requires a high level of physical fitness and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities
  • Feed conveyors, hoppers, saws, and drying machines to ensure efficient production.
  • Load chips, sulphur, and processing materials into machines.
  • Sort, pile, and transport wood products to meet quality and quantity standards.
  • Remove scrap lumber and wood chips for reprocessing.
  • Clean machines and work areas to maintain a safe and healthy environment.
Work Environment

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a focus on safety and productivity. The work environment is noisy and dusty, and the candidate must be able to work in these conditions for extended periods.

Requirements
  • Repetitive tasks and manual dexterity are essential for this role.
  • Handling heavy loads and standing for extended periods are also required.
  • Combination of sitting, standing, and walking is necessary to perform job duties.
  • Attention to detail and hand-eye coordination are critical for success in this position.
  • English language proficiency is required for communication and documentation purposes.
  • 40 hours per week, with a focus on maintaining a healthy work-life balance.
