Job Summary:

Lifemark Health Group is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Licensed Counselling Therapist to join our team. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will provide high-quality counselling services to clients with diverse mental health needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide goal-focused, therapeutic counselling services to clients addressing psychosocial problems related to injury, trauma, and mental illness.
  • Participate in team conferences to discuss clients' treatment plans, progress, and barriers to treatment.
  • Deliver quality reporting and effective communication with stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care.

Requirements:

  • Registration with the College of Licensed Counselling Therapists of New Brunswick.
  • Master's Degree in a counselling-related field such as Counselling, Psychology, or Social Work.
  • Experience in case conceptualization and treatment of mental health symptoms with adult clients.
  • Clinical knowledge in areas such as grief/loss, depression, anxiety, trauma, and adjustment issues.
  • Training and experience with cognitive behavioural therapy approaches.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, sound judgement, and integrity.
