Environmental Project Manager/Scientist or Engineer

Job Summary:
Parsons Corporation is seeking an experienced Environmental Project Manager/Scientist or Engineer to join our Critical Infrastructure team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing contaminated sites and infrastructure projects, providing technical leadership, and ensuring compliance with federal and provincial environmental laws and regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage contaminated sites and infrastructure projects, including investigations, remediation design, and excess soil planning.
- Provide technical leadership and expertise in environmental site assessments, remediation, and infrastructure projects.
- Ensure compliance with federal and provincial environmental laws and regulations, including CSA and O.Reg.153/04 requirements.
- Develop and implement project plans, budgets, and schedules to ensure timely and cost-effective completion of projects.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including engineers, scientists, and project managers, to deliver high-quality project outcomes.
- Prepare and review technical reports, proposals, and other documentation to support project delivery.
- Manage and maintain client relationships, including communication, issue resolution, and project close-out.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in earth sciences, environmental/chemical/geological engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of consulting experience in environmental project management, with a strong understanding of federal and provincial environmental laws and regulations.
- 2+ years of experience managing contaminated sites projects with consulting values over $100K.
- Technical expertise in environmental site assessments, excess soil planning, and remediation approaches.
- Strong communication, leadership, and project management skills.
- Financial literacy and ability to manage project budgets and schedules.
