Front Desk Associate

We are seeking a highly organized and customer-focused Front Desk Clerk to join our team at Smuggler's Cove Inn. As a key member of our front office team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional guest service, managing room assignments, and ensuring a seamless check-in and check-out experience for our guests.
Key Responsibilities- Guest Services: Register arriving guests, assign rooms, and provide information on hotel facilities and services.
- Customer Service: Resolve complaints and claims, provide general information about points of interest in the area, and process guests' departures.
- Administrative Tasks: Maintain an inventory of vacancies, reservations, and room assignments, and answer telephone calls and relay messages.
- Support for Diverse Groups: Participate in initiatives that support persons with disabilities, newcomers and refugees, youth, veterans, Indigenous people, and visible minorities.
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- Experience an asset
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and provide excellent customer service
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
