Medical Director Opportunity at London Regional Veterinary Emergency and Referral Hospital

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced DVM to join our team as Medical Director at London Regional Veterinary Emergency and Referral Hospital. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for providing medical direction and leadership to our emergency veterinary team, ensuring compliance with veterinary medical standards and protocols.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide medical direction and leadership to the emergency veterinary team
  • Ensure compliance with veterinary medical standards and protocols
  • Contribute to the financial performance of the hospital by setting and meeting budgeting and operational targets
  • Direct and foster the veterinary staff to deliver exceptional client experience and excellence in veterinary care
Requirements:
  • 3+ years post-graduate experience working as an emergency veterinarian in an active hospital
  • Experience leading a team of veterinary professionals in addressing changes and/or improvements to medical protocols
  • Ability to oversee surgical and medical cases for veterinary doctors, ensuring positive outcomes and accurate estimates
  • Dedication to promoting team-based medicine practices
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills in working with colleagues, pet parents, and community
