Job Title: Accounting Technician

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounting Technician to join our team at Prince Property Inc.

Job Summary:

The Accounting Technician will be responsible for performing various accounting tasks, including calculating and preparing cheques for payroll, calculating fixed assets and depreciation, and maintaining general ledgers and financial statements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Financial Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger.
  • Payroll Processing: Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll, ensuring timely and accurate payment to employees.
  • Financial Analysis: Analyze financial data to identify trends and areas for improvement, providing recommendations to management.
  • Accounting Systems: Maintain and balance various accounts using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems.
  • Reporting: Prepare financial reports, including trial balance, balance sheet, and income statement.
Requirements:
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in accounting or a related field.
  • Skills: Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS Windows, and MS Office.
Work Environment:

The Accounting Technician will work in a fast-paced environment, requiring strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Language:

The primary language of work is English.
