Position Overview

The Hensh Corporation is seeking a dedicated Baker to join our culinary team. This role is essential in creating high-quality baked goods that meet our customers' expectations.

Qualifications
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required.
  • Experience: A minimum of 1 to less than 7 months in a baking or culinary environment.
Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare various doughs for breads, pastries, and desserts, adhering to established recipes or customized orders.
  • Create specialty pastries for events such as weddings and birthdays.
  • Manage inventory by requisitioning or ordering necessary materials and supplies.
  • Bake a variety of mixed doughs and batters to perfection.
  • Provide training to staff on food preparation, cooking techniques, and safe food handling practices.
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of baking personnel and kitchen staff.
  • Decorate and frost cakes and other baked items to enhance presentation.
  • Ensure product quality meets our high standards through regular inspections.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in kitchen and food service areas.
  • Oversee the sales and merchandising of baked products.
  • Prepare dishes that accommodate customers with food allergies or dietary restrictions.
