HR Specialist

We are currently seeking a Human Resources Generalist to join our HR/Safety team.

This position, based at our corporate office, offers the chance to engage with team members across various provinces. As an HR professional, you will play a crucial role in fostering a people-centric work environment through effective recruitment, onboarding, training, and employee development initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Collaborate with HR colleagues to manage the recruitment process, including job postings, candidate selection, and employment offers.
2. Facilitate the onboarding process for new employees, ensuring compliance with company procedures and providing necessary training.
3. Work alongside HR/Safety team members to deliver presentations during orientations and training sessions.
4. Oversee the administration of employee benefits, including enrollment, payroll updates, and monthly reconciliations.
5. Monitor performance management milestones and assist leadership with necessary documentation for employee reviews.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities, with a talent for building relationships across all organizational levels.
• Comfortable conducting interviews, orientations, and training sessions.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
• Strong knowledge of HR laws, regulations, and best practices.
• Ability to manage sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism.
