Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Kona Ice of Chilliwack. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service department, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and high-quality food products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and Coordinate Staff: Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that they are working efficiently and effectively.
  • Train and Develop Staff: Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, as well as provide ongoing coaching and feedback to ensure they are meeting our high standards.
  • Inventory Management: Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation, and maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, and address any customer complaints or concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Reporting and Record-Keeping: Prepare and submit reports, and maintain accurate records of sales, inventory, and customer feedback.
Work Environment

As a Food Service Supervisor at Kona Ice of Chilliwack, you will work in a fast-paced environment with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking. You will be required to stand for extended periods and perform tasks that involve bending, crouching, and kneeling.

Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service supervisory role
  • Language: English
  • Work Schedule: 30 to 40 hours per week
