Job Title: Pharmacy Assistant III

Join Lawtons Pharmacy as a Pharmacy Assistant III and take on a challenging role that requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities.

Job Summary:

The Pharmacy Assistant III is responsible for providing exceptional customer service, scheduling pharmacy assistants, coordinating workflow, and managing department personnel. This role requires a high level of autonomy, multitasking, and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Schedule pharmacy assistants to ensure adequate staffing levels
  • Coordinate pharmacy workflow to optimize efficiency and productivity
  • Manage department personnel, including scheduling, recruitment, performance management, and training
  • Coach pharmacy assistants to deliver superior customer experiences
  • Promote PROfile Programs and educate pharmacy assistants
  • Communicate operational requirements and changes to pharmacy support staff
  • Complete monthly reporting and supervise inventory management
  • Process customer transactions, assemble prescriptions, and manage inventory
  • Perform administrative duties, including filing, supplies, and cleaning
  • Receive and process refill requests, record deliveries, and perform data entry
  • Manage product orders, deliveries, and drug order creation
  • Assemble pill packs, manage BTC, and ensure regulatory compliance
  • Assist with other pharmacy operations as required
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma
  • Minimum 2 years' experience as a Pharmacy Assistant or equivalent experience
  • Knowledge of MS Suite
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Undergraduate degree, Pharmacy Technician Certificate, or equivalent recognized program
