About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Culinary Professional to join our team at SRA Wasaga Beach Limited. As a key member of our kitchen operations, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of food quality and service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation and Service: Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods to meet the needs of our customers.
  • Kitchen Management: Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure cleanliness and organization, and implement procedures to maintain high standards.
  • Staff Training and Development: Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food to ensure consistency and quality.
  • Inventory Management: Order supplies and equipment, and maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment to ensure efficient operations.
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Clean kitchen and work areas to maintain a safe and healthy environment.
  • Team Leadership: Manage kitchen operations, including supervising staff and coordinating tasks to ensure efficient service.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a similar role.
  • Work Setting: Restaurant environment.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Ability to stand for extended periods, attention to detail, and repetitive tasks.
  • Personal Suitability: Client focus, dependability, flexibility, organized, reliability, and team player.
