We are seeking a skilled Computer Network Technician to join our team at 1372677 B.C. LTD.
Job SummaryThe successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and administering local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs), mainframe networks, and computer workstations and peripheral equipment.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain and administer LANs, WANs, mainframe networks, and computer workstations and peripheral equipment
- Evaluate and install computer hardware, networking software, and operating system software
- Provide problem-solving services to network users
- Implement data, software, and hardware security procedures
- Perform routine network start-up and close-down and maintain control records
- Perform data backups and disaster recovery operations
- Set up local area networks and connections to the Internet
- Implement network traffic and security monitoring software and optimize server performance
- Perform Web-server backup and recovery operations
- 3 years to less than 5 years of experience
- Permanent employment
- English language proficiency
- 40 hours per week
- Attention to detail
- Organized
