About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Physiotherapy Assistant Practitioner to join our pelvic health team at Warrington and Halton Teaching Hospitals NHSFT. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing specialist assessment and treatment for individuals with pelvic floor dysfunction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement therapy treatment plans for individual patients and groups, working within established protocols and guidelines.
  • Conduct clinical assessments and develop relevant treatment programs, including therapeutic handling and the use of specialist equipment.
  • Assist qualified therapists with a range of duties, providing enhanced skills of direct care and support for patients.
  • Contribute to the maintenance of a clean and tidy work environment, adhering to health and safety standards.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, colleagues, and other healthcare professionals, demonstrating empathy and understanding.
Requirements
  • Minimum of Level 5 Foundation Degree in a relevant area, with a strong understanding of therapy principles.
  • Experience working in a therapy setting, with a focus on pelvic health and perinatal care.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Competent in using IT systems and completing patient records.
