About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Pharmacy Technical Assistant to join our team at PortageRx Pharmacy. As a Pharmacy Technical Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our pharmacists and ensuring the smooth operation of our pharmacy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Education and Experience: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years, and 7 months to less than 1 year of experience.
  • Tasks: Assist pharmacists with various tasks, prepare medications for clients, clean and maintain equipment, and perform general clerical duties.
  • Computer and Technology Knowledge: Proficient in MS Excel, MS Office, MS PowerPoint, and MS Word.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Work in a fast-paced environment, perform repetitive tasks, and work under pressure.
  • Personal Suitability: Client-focused, organized, and able to multitask.
  • Support for Indigenous People: Participate in initiatives that support Indigenous people, offer mentorship and coaching, and develop relationships with Indigenous communities.
