About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Truck Trailer Mechanic to join our team at Heartland Transport Ltd. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance and safety of our fleet of commercial transport trucks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Repair and Maintenance: Adjust, repair or replace parts and components of commercial transport truck systems, including trailer systems, to manufacturer's specifications.
  • Inspection and Diagnosis: Inspect mechanical units to locate faults and malfunctions, and perform scheduled maintenance service to prevent downtime.
  • Testing and Quality Control: Test and adjust repaired systems to ensure they meet manufacturer's specifications and are safe for operation.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Skills: Strong attention to detail, ability to work independently and as part of a team, and excellent problem-solving skills.
