Job Title: Personal Support Worker

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Personal Support Worker to join our team at Monireh Riahi. As a Personal Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our clients, enabling them to maintain their independence and dignity.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Administer bedside and personal care, ensuring the comfort and well-being of our clients.
  • Assist clients with bathing, dressing, and other aspects of personal hygiene, promoting their physical and emotional health.
  • Plan and prepare nutritious meals, taking into account our clients' dietary needs and preferences.
  • Provide companionship and social support, helping to alleviate feelings of loneliness and isolation.
  • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, maintaining a safe and healthy environment for our clients.
  • Assist with medication administration, ensuring accurate and timely dosing.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals.
  • Flexibility and adaptability, with a willingness to work varied shifts and respond to changing client needs.
  • Reliability and punctuality, with a strong commitment to providing high-quality care and support.
Working Conditions:
  • Non-smoking environment.
  • 40 hours per week, with varied shifts and on-call requirements.
  • Anglais is the primary language of communication.
