About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Cleaning Operations Manager to join our team at Town and Country Motel. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and safety of our premises.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and Coordinate Activities: Oversee the daily activities of our cleaning staff, ensuring that tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Inspect and Maintain Facilities: Conduct regular inspections of our facilities to identify areas for improvement and implement measures to maintain high standards of cleanliness and safety.
  • Recommend and Coordinate Services: Identify and recommend additional services required to maintain our facilities, such as painting, repairs, or renovations.
  • Assist Cleaning Staff: Provide support and guidance to our cleaning staff as needed, ensuring that they have the necessary resources and training to perform their duties effectively.
  • Coordinate with Other Departments: Collaborate with other departments to ensure that our facilities are maintained to the highest standards.
  • Establish Work Schedules: Develop and implement work schedules to ensure that our facilities are cleaned and maintained efficiently.
Support for Newcomers and Refugees
  • Foreign Credential Recognition: Support newcomers and refugees with foreign credential recognition, ensuring that they have the necessary qualifications and training to perform their duties effectively.
  • Diversity and Cross-Cultural Training: Provide diversity and cross-cultural training to create a welcoming work environment for newcomers and refugees.
Support for Indigenous People
  • Mentorship and Coaching: Offer mentorship and coaching opportunities to Indigenous workers, providing them with the necessary support and guidance to succeed in their roles.
  • Cultural Competency Training: Provide cultural competency training and awareness training to all employees, ensuring that they have the necessary knowledge and understanding to create a welcoming work environment for Indigenous workers.
