Manager of Manufacturing Excellence in Fabrication

We are currently seeking a Manufacturing Excellence Manager, Fabrication. This position will be pivotal in driving operational efficiency and will report directly to the Director of Manufacturing Excellence.

Job Overview
Lead initiatives aimed at enhancing Industrial Excellence within Fabrication facilities throughout North America, focusing on achieving Divisional KPIs and optimizing the performance of personnel, systems, equipment, and overall site operations.
Key Responsibilities
Health, Safety & Environment / Quality
Promote a Safety-First culture while adhering to Aliaxis Divisional & Global Safety standards.Assist in executing the Divisional HS&E strategy, ensuring accountability at sites and reporting on progress and initiatives.Manufacturing Excellence
Drive the development and implementation of a Manufacturing Excellence roadmap across North America, providing standardized solutions for all Fabrication sites.Contribute to the establishment of a divisional organizational structure that supports the delivery of Manufacturing Excellence across regions, ensuring alignment with financial objectives.Set performance indicators to monitor, analyze, and continuously enhance production processes.Support business units in achieving manufacturing excellence KPIs and annual financial targets.Facilitate the execution of North American projects and initiatives through collaboration with key stakeholders.Lead improvements in manufacturing processes.Assist in the development and implementation of a standardized management system.Centralize and standardize best practices across fabrication sites.People Development
Contribute to the objective of creating a Best Place to Work.Implement manufacturing excellence goals across plants to meet performance, financial, and employee development targets.Mentor and develop Manufacturing Excellence leaders to enhance operational excellence on the shop floor and eliminate obstacles for employees.Engage in Gemba walks and provide coaching on 5S, standard work, visual management, continuous improvement, and other lean methodologies.Foster a culture of change leadership by addressing individual mindsets.Support the planning and execution of Kaizen and Lean manufacturing events within value stream teams.Monitor and report on program progress while maintaining communication with plant leadership.Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field is essential.LEAN Six Sigma certification is advantageous.10-15 years of demonstrated experience in leading or supporting manufacturing teams, with a focus on excellence projects and process improvements.Proven track record of leading teams in a performance management environment across multiple sites.Strong project management skills are required.A solid understanding of Engineering, Project Management, Lean Principles, Six Sigma, and financial acumen is necessary.Aliaxis is dedicated to providing accommodations for individuals with disabilities throughout the recruitment process and will work with qualified applicants to ensure suitable accommodations are provided.
