About the Role

Ornge is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Critical Care Paramedic to join our team. As a Critical Care Paramedic, you will play a vital role in providing emergency medical care to patients in critical condition.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess and Treat Patients: Conduct thorough assessments of patients' injuries or illnesses to determine the best course of emergency medical treatment.
  • Administer Emergency Care: Provide pre-hospital emergency care, including administering medications and performing procedures as needed.
  • Transport Patients: Safely transport patients to hospital or other medical facilities for further medical care.
  • Document and Record: Accurately document and record the nature of injuries and treatment provided.
  • Maintain Equipment and Supplies: Ensure ambulances and emergency care equipment and supplies are properly maintained and up-to-date.
