Job Title: Executive Chef

We are seeking an experienced Executive Chef to join our team at Story Coffee & Bakery LTD. as a key member of our culinary team.

Job Summary:

The Executive Chef will be responsible for leading our kitchen operations, managing staff, and ensuring the highest quality of food is served to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Menu Planning: Plan and develop menus that meet the tastes and preferences of our customers.
  • Food Preparation: Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods to the highest standards.
  • Staff Management: Manage and supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to ensure excellent service.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory records and manage supplies and equipment.
  • Cleanliness and Safety: Ensure a clean and safe working environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.
Requirements:
  • Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Setting: Restaurant.
