Job Title: Product Designer

We are seeking a skilled Product Designer to join our team at MK Pallets Inc. as a key member of our product development team.

Job Summary:

The Product Designer will be responsible for designing and developing innovative products that meet the needs of our customers. This is a temporary position that requires a strong understanding of product design principles, as well as excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Consult with clients, engineers, and production specialists to establish product requirements
  • Read blueprints to determine work requirements
  • Conduct research into cost, properties of production materials, and methods of production
  • Prepare manufacturing drawings, specifications, and guidelines for production and construct prototype of design
  • Prepare design concepts, sketches, or models for approval
  • Analyze the intended use of products and user preferences
  • Print in 3D
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in product design
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Strong understanding of product design principles
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD
Work Environment:

This is a fast-paced environment that requires the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. The successful candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team, and will have excellent manual dexterity and attention to detail.
