Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including ledgers and financial statements.
  • Accounting and Bookkeeping: Utilize manual and computerized bookkeeping systems to establish, maintain, and balance various accounts.
  • Payroll and Tax Preparation: Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll and prepare tax returns.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare statistical, financial, and accounting reports to support business decision-making.
Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • Work Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in accounting or bookkeeping.
  • Language: Fluency in English.
  • Work Environment: Urban area, 35 hours per week.
