Retail Store Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Retail Store Supervisor to join our team at Esso. As a key member of our retail operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities of our gas bar and ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service.
Key Responsibilities- Assign sales workers to duties and ensure that they are adequately trained to meet customer needs.
- Hire and train new staff members, or arrange for their training, to ensure that they have the necessary skills to perform their roles effectively.
- Order merchandise and manage inventory levels to ensure that our shelves are always fully stocked.
- Establish work schedules and ensure that our team is working efficiently and effectively.
- Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters to help inform our business decisions.
- Resolve customer complaints and issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Organize and maintain inventory levels to ensure that our store is always well-stocked and that our customers have access to the products they need.
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of our sales team to ensure that they are working together effectively to meet our business objectives.
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a retail or customer service role.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
