Labourer - Warehouse and Yard Job Description

Forbes Bros. Ltd. is seeking an experienced Labourer - Warehouse and Yard to join our team based out of Surrey BC. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing basic tasks involving physical labour in the warehouse and yard at our Surrey BC location.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Performing physical labour tasks in the warehouse and yard
  • Cleaning and preparing sites, cleaning up rubble and debris, and removing potentially hazardous waste materials
  • Assisting other craft workers as assigned
  • Operating small equipment and hand tools
  • Spotting for vehicles and equipment
  • Warehouse/Yard setup and cleanup
Requirements:
  • Minimum one (1) years' experience in as a warehouse/yard labourer
  • Experience operating Forklift and Loader considered an asset
  • Able to distinguish between colours
  • Able to complete physically demanding work that includes bending, crouching, and kneeling
  • Strong work ethic with a positive team attitude
  • Physically fit and able to perform manual labor in varying weather conditions and environments, inclusive of heavy lifting
