Principal Program Manager

Key Responsibilities- Program Leadership: Lead a team that manages various programs, both in services and in new product development across hardware, firmware, and software.
- Schedule Assessments: Provide technical and personal leadership, and conduct overall schedule assessments to manage both internal teams, vendors, and customers.
- Communication: Communicate effectively both internally and externally, and have excellent communication skills.
- Project Management: Manage multiple programs across multiple platforms and technologies, plan, schedule, and coordinate development projects as well as service projects.
- Quality and Risk Management: Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget, and identify risk areas and mitigation plans to meet quality, schedule, and cost targets.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams (incl. Business Development, Business Planning, Product Marketing, Sales, Product Management, Engineering and Operations) throughout the planning and execution phase.
- Issue Resolution: Drive and participate in recurring team meetings, and work with cross-functional teams on issues and drive issue resolution in a timely manner.
- Process Improvement: Capture and drive process improvements opportunities, and set high standards for personal and team interaction.
Requirements
- Technical Expertise: Passion and experience delivering high quality products and services, and proven ability in program management, driving and communication skills.
- Leadership Skills: Excellent leadership skills, with the ability to lead and work collaboratively in a highly dynamic environment.
- Communication Skills: Extremely detailed & clear communication skills, and ability to communicate effectively both internally and externally.
- Financial Acumen: Good financial understanding, and ability to manage budgets and resources.
- Technical Tools: Advanced knowledge and proficiency with scheduling tools, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
- Issue-Tracking Software: Fluent with using issue-tracking software applications, such as Jira.
- Logistics and Planning: Ability to manage logistics, planning, and resource allocation.
- Self-Starter: Self-starter with the ability to work through ambiguity and evolving requirements.
