Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Welder to join our team at Stallion Semi Truck Trailer Service Inc. as a key member of our fabrication department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Interpret and execute welding process specifications to ensure high-quality metal fabrication.
  • Operate manual or semi-automatic flame-cutting equipment to precision-cut metal components.
  • Utilize brakes, shears, and other metal shaping, straightening, and bending machines to transform raw materials into finished products.
  • Expertly fit, braze, and torch-straighten metal to meet exacting standards.
  • Determine the weldability of various materials to ensure optimal results.
  • Operate hoisting and lifting equipment to safely move heavy loads.
  • Set up and operate welding machines to fabricate or repair metal parts and products.
  • Operate brazing or soldering machines to bond metal or fill holes, indentations, and seams.
  • Start up, shut down, adjust, and monitor robotic welding production lines to optimize efficiency.
  • Maintain and perform minor repairs on welding, brazing, and soldering equipment to prevent downtime.
Work Environment and Physical Demands
  • Work in a fast-paced fabrication environment with heavy lifting and physical demands.
  • Regularly handle heavy loads and work in a physically demanding environment.
  • Occasionally sit during breaks or when not actively working.
